Five parrots separated after learning to swear

Five African grey parrots at a wildlife park in Lincolnshire, England, were separated after learning and teaching each other to swear.
The birds, named Billy, Elsie, Eric, Jade, and Tyson, joined a group of around 200 African grey parrots in August.
According to Steve Nichols, CEO of the wildlife park, staff noticed the five birds swearing. Although they were used to parrots using bad language, this was the first time they had encountered five parrots doing it together.
The birds were moved to different areas of the park to prevent them from encouraging one another to swear.
The separation was intended to keep young visitors safe and help the parrots learn natural calls from other birds of their kind. (Arianne Mariz De Guia)
