St. Luke's Medical Center (SLMC) has refuted the claims that online documents showing President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.'s medical test results are authentic, labeling them as fake and falsified.
The hospital, in a public advisory, spoke against the spread of these purported medical results, stressing that the documents are not real. "St. Luke's Medical Center is aware of medical test results falsely circulating online and on social media claiming to pertain to President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos, Jr. These documents are FAKE and FALSIFIED," the statement read.
SLMC reiterated its strict policy on patient confidentiality and data privacy, explaining that medical results are released only to the patient through official and authorized channels. The hospital warned that any documents obtained or shared outside these channels are considered unauthorized and may violate hospital policies and the law.
The hospital also urged the public to exercise caution when sharing unverified or unofficial information online, particularly medical records, as doing so can spread false information and may result in legal consequences.
