Over 9.6 million devotees join Traslacion 2026

According to the most recent statistics from the Philippine National Police (PNP), Quiapo Church, and the Manila City Government, a record 9,640,290 devotees attended the Feast of the Black Nazarene.
On Friday, January 9, the procession started at Quirino Grandstand at 4:00 a.m. and ended at 10:50 a.m. on Saturday, January 10, when the holy image was returned to Quiapo Church. According to the Quiapo Church, the Traslacion 2026 was the longest procession ever and the largest assembly of devotees, lasting 30 hours and 50 minutes.
In contrast, police estimated that the Traslacion in 2025 drew around 8.1 million worshipers and lasted 20 hours and 45 minutes.

The Quiapo Church administration, meanwhile, reported 1,057 medical incidents during the Traslacion, with four confirmed dead.
