Aliwan Fiesta 2023 Day 2: Kristine Billy Tabaday wins 4 Reyna ng Aliwan special awards

Kristina Billy Tabaday of La Union's Ayat Festival took the spotlight in the Reyna ng Aliwan pageant during Aliwan Fiesta 2023 Day 2 after bagging four special awards at the Aliw Theater last July 14.
Tabaday won Miss Charm, Miss White Rose, Miss Photogenic, and Best in Swimsuit to lead the other winning candidates as the search for the annual queens of Aliwan returned after a four-year hiatus due to the coronavirus diseases 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

Standing 5-foot-6 1/2 tall and weighing 52 kilograms, Tabaday is a 24-year-old administrative assistant and marketing representative of East West Bank.
She is also an ambassador for the Philippine National Red Cross La Union Chapter.

Erika Maie Sawma (Antipolo Maytime Festival of Antipolo) and Melanie Grace Gillamac (Palawod Festival of Bantayan, Cebu), meanwhile, won Miss Friendship.

Natalya Margaret Lindsay of Atimonan, Quezon's Tagultol Fishing Festival brought home Miss Unique Smile, while Kiara Liane Wellington of Cebu's Sinulog Festival claimed Best in Evening Gown.

Wrapping up the winners' list was Gheneza Marie Mueller of Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental's Udyakan Festival, as she hoisted the Netizen's Choice Award.
The Reyna ng Aliwan 2023 queen will be crowned on Aliwan Fiesta 2023's third and final day on July 15 in front of the Aliw Theater.
Judges will score each of the candidates using the following criteria: personality (35%), beauty and poise (35%), costume (20%), and overall impact (10%) for a total of 100%.
96.3 Easy Rock disk jockey (DJ) Nick and Reyna ng Aliwan 2013 Jamie Herrell hosted the 2023 Reyna ng Aliwan, participated by 18 aspiring beauty queens from different regions of the Philippines.
Wearing their respective festival costumes, the candidates graced the stage elegantly.
Confidently, they adored the audience with their body figures during the swimwear segment.
Mark Carpio and Luke Mejares serenaded the ladies and viewers with heart-felt singing performances.
Then, each of the Reyna ng Aliwan 2023 aspirant's wit and intellect got tested in the question and answer (Q&A) portion.
The Q&A allowed the judges to gain knowledge and understanding of the 18 participants vying for the Reyna ng Aliwan 2023 crown.
The board of judges includes: "Lakay" Deo Macalma, DZRH-VP; Cherry Veric, world-renowned fashion designer; Shannon Robinson, Miss Environment International 2023 winner; and Vincent Supetran, ACS Manufacturing Corporation National Sales Manager.
Aliwan Fiesta Digital Queens Jannarie Zarzoso (2020), Shanyl Kayle Hofer (2021), and Marikit Manaois (2022) were also present during the night.
