6 ways to stay healthy at work

To be successful, we need to work hard. But aside from that, we also need to maintain our healthy life style while earning money. And for the workaholics, it is very difficult to maintain a healthy life and take away those stresses that your work brings. Here are some tips that might help you in combining a healthy living while working hard.
1. Keep you work area clean
Use disinfectant wipes or alcohol in cleanng your mouse, monitor, telephone and desk. Keep it clean and free from germs and virus to avoid getting sick. Don't forget also to clean your cellphone, yes germs can stay there because you are using it every day.
2. Stay Hydrated
Keep a bottle or tumbler of water at your desk so that you won't be lazy to get some. Being hydrated can make you free from stress. It can strengthen your immune system.
3. Wash your hands
You have to wash your hands because anything that you touch at work can be harmful contaminants. According to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, use warm water and soap, wash it for 20 seconds.
4. Eat Healthy foods
Having a balanced diet is very important, don't forget to have super green foods,probiotics and omega-3 essential fatty acids, it is a big foundation to your health.
Rather than eating donuts, hamburgers, fries and junk foods for your snack, eat pistachios, cashews, pecans, and walnuts that can maintain your energy.
5. Avoid touching your face
Yes, it's hard to do but germs spread in that way. Wash your hands first before doing it.
6. Have at least 6 to 8 hours of sleep
Sleep is very important for our body's healing and regeneration. Having sufficient quality sleep increases your immune system and energy levels whereas refining memory, and attentiveness. (DBM)
