Pnoy grants a housing project for AFP/PNP

President Benigno Aquino III fulfills his promise of providing houses for the members Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the Philippine National Police (PNP).
Pnoy launches Monday the "Bocaue Hills Housing Project" at Barangay Batia, Bocaue, Bulacan.
The National Housing Authority (NHA) will manage the housing project for the military and police personnel. The project includes 22,000 units, all-in-all amounting to P4.92 billion.
Aquino said that the 27-hectare project has 4,000 units in Brgy. Batia and 1,000 units in Brgy. Tambubong. Aside from houses, school buildings, a public market and transportation terminals are also provided within the Bocaue Hills Housing Project.
He believes that housing project will lessen the burden on policemen and soldiers who are currently renting houses.
Vice President and Concurrent Chair of the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC) Jejomar Binay is together with Pnoy in inspecting the project sites.
