NegOcc marks 25th Provincial Environment Week

BACOLOD — Provincial Environment Management Office (PEMO) head Wilfred Ramon Peñalosa called for the continued protection of the environment as Negros Occidental marks its 25th Provincial Environment Week from June 19 to 23.
With the theme "25 Years of Connecting People to Nature," Peñalosa, who spoke during the opening rites at the Negros Occidental Multi-Purpose Activity Center on Monday, underscored the protection of the "LAW" or Land, Air and Water, adding that without these three there would be no life.
The PEMO head also thanked the advocates for environmental protection in the province. The Environment Week is a celebration of people working together, he added.

Balenario also lauded the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental for the "meaningful celebration".
