Gov vows improvement of all medical services, facilities in Bulacan

MALOLOS CITY, Bulacan — The provincial government is prioritizing the improvement of medical facilities and health services in all the villages of the province's 21 towns and cities, Governor Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado said on Friday.
"We want to have the best medical facilities so that our people will be given the best quality health care that they deserve," he said.
Vice Governor Daniel Fernando likewise said that they want to make sure that first aid and fast health services are immediately available to Bulakenyos.
"Quality health care is one of the seven-point agenda of the administration of Governor Alvarado," Fernando said.
The two provincial leaders were happy to tell that Health Secretary Paulyn Jean B. Roselle-Ubial was impressed with the ongoing modernization of the province's premiere hospital--Bulacan Medical Center.
The DOH Secretary led Thursday afternoon the blessing of the state-of-the art Dialysis Center and Intensive Care Unit facility of the Bulacan Medical Center.
"It's the best provincial hospital that I've seen so far. It makes you glad that the support being given by the administration of President Rodrigo Duterte is being used well, giving the people especially the indigents the best quality health care," Ubial said.
Alvarado was also glad to say that the DOH Secretary was likewise awed by the air-conditioned emergency room as well as the maternity ward of Bulacan Medical Center.
The DOH Secretary commended Alvarado and Fernando for their initiatives in modernizing the premier hospital in Bulacan which, she said, is at par with the best modern private hospitals in the country. (PNA)
