PRO-13 intensifies 'Manhunt Charlie', nabs 4 wanted persons

BUTUAN — A robbery suspect and three others were nabbed by the regional police here in separate locations as it intensifies its campaign against wanted persons dubbed as "Manhunt Charlie".
Caraga PNP Director PCSupt. Rolando B. Felix announced on Thursday that one of the wanted persons arrested by his operatives was identified as Joshua Cornejos, 28, who has an arrest warrant for a case of robbery at Barangay Maligaya, Rosario town, in Agusan del Sur.
Also arrested in separate police operations were Armando Leo, 38; of Jabonga town in Agusan del Norte for qualified theft; Herman Basamayor, 36; from Kitcharao town of the same province and Ruben Aradillos Sr., 47, of Bislig City in Surigao del Sur, who are facing charges of "Violation of Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004."
The arrested persons are placed under the custody of their arresting police units.
Felix said that the success of their operations could be attributed to their intensified campaign against persons wanted by the law and the strong partnership between the police, other security forces and the community. (PNA)
