LPA sighted in Batanes

A Low Pressure Area was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 150 km East Northeast of Basco, Batanes.

Luzon and Mindanao will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms becoming cloudy with scattered to widespread rains over the eastern section of Northern and Central Luzon.

Visayas will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the Southwest to West will prevail over Extreme Northern Luzon and coming from Southwest over the rest of Luzon and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the South to Southwest with slight to moderate seas. — ARA
