TD Onyok affects Batanes

Tropical Depression "ONYOK" was now estimated based on satellite and surface data at 1,170 km East Northeast of Basco, Batanes.

It is forecasted to move west at 7 kph.

Eastern Visayas and Mindanao will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms.

The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to at times cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Light to moderate winds blowing from the Northwest to West will prevail over Northern and Central Luzon, from Southwest to West over Southern Luzon and Visayas and coming from the South to Southwest over Mindanao.

The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate. — ARA
