Earthquake hits Panay Island

A 4.9 magnitude earthquake hit Panay Island at 10:17 a.m. Thursday morning.
According to the United States Geological Survey, the earthquake struck at a depth of 70.1 km, 46 km west northwest of Iloilo.
No reports of damages nor casualties have been reported so far.
Panay Island comprises the provinces of Iloilo, Aklan, Antique, Capiz and is found in the Western Visayas.
