Israel Prime Minister guards require 3 journalists to strip-off

Three foreign journalists were told by security personnel to strip off their bras before being permitted into the offices of Israel's prime minister late last week.

Earlier this week, the three women conversed their agony after being requested to get rid of their bras for X-ray in two separate occurrences at the Jerusalem Offices of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

All three foreign journalists act in accordance with the demand regardless of the distress. Each of the women was taken at the back of a curtain in the lobby of the entrance hall and patted down prior to being told to undress, then their bras were passed out in full view of male and female colleagues and security personnel, to be situated through an X-ray machine. Their personal belongings were also emptied out in public view and put through the machine.

A statement from the Tel-Aviv based group held: "The Foreign Press Association strongly condemns the continued harassment of journalists attending media events at the prime minister's office."

Netanyahu's security staff moves toward blaze in January this year, for directing a pregnant Arab correspondent for Al-Jazeera to strip off her bra in order to attend a cocktail event for the press at a five-star hotel in Jerusalem. — MITCH
