Stock Market - April 11

The Philippine Stock Exchange Index closed lower Monday than it did Friday.

Down 13 points from Friday's closing, the PSEi dropped a little more than 0.3% to reach 4227 points with the broader All Shares closing 14 points lower or 0.47% to 3096 points.

The rest of indices were also red save for the Holdings Firms, Services, and Mining & Oil which gained 14 points, four points, and 27 points, respectively.

The Industrial sector topped the losing sector at 84 points or 1.11%.

Decliners lead the advancers 60 to 56.

Volume traded on Monday reached more than 764 million shares at P4.6 billion. — DBL
