PhilHealth is in a very stable financial condition

PhilHealth is in the pinkest of health.

This was how Philippine Health Insurance Corporation president and chief executive officer Rey Aquino described the financial condition of the agency at the Communication and News Exchange Forum.

"Sa totoo lang, as of now, PhilHealth is as stable as it can be, in the pinkest of the pink of health. As the President and CEO, I can assure you, that is how stable PhilHealth is," said Dr. Aquino.

He added that the books of PhilHealth is open for anybody so they can see for themselves that they can depend on PhilHealth in times of health emergencies.

Created under Republic Act No. 7875 or the National Health Insurance Act of 1995, PhilHealth is mandated to administer the National health Insurance Program of the government. — ARA
