The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology recorded six volcanic earthquakes during the past 24 hours.
Phivolcs said that the alert level remains at level two, indicating interference of magma on the volcanic surface.
The public is advice to strictly stay away from the Daang Kastila Trail and Mt. Tabaro due to the hazardous steam-driven explosions that may occur and high concentrations of toxic gases that may accumulate in the air which can cause breathing difficulties to animals, vegetation, and human beings.
Phivolcs reminds the public that the entire volcano island is the Permanent Danger Zone already.
The agency will keep on monitoring the activities of Mt. Taal, and report to the public any new development. — ARA
