Mayweather requests postponement in Pacquiao case

American boxer Floyd Mayweather requested the Nevada Court to reschedule his June 17-scheduled deposition on the defamation suit filed by Boxing Champion Manny Pacquiao.
Mayweather's camp wanted the postponement due to his upcoming fight against Victor Ortiz on Sept 17.
His lawyer is expected to be not available as well on Friday's deposition.
"Mr. Mayweather Jr. needs to concentrate on training for the fight and not be distracted by preparing for, and testifying at, his deposition in this case," Mayweather's lawyer said.
Earlier, Sarangani Representative Pacquiao sued Mayweather for saying that he was using performance- enhancing drugs or steroids.
Meanwhile, Pacquiao will also have an upcoming fight against Juan Manuel Marquez on November 12.
