Team Azkals to train like Pacquiao

Azkals team manager Dan Palami wanted to apply Boxing Champion and Saranggani Rep. Pacquiao's famous mantra "If you train hard, the fight is easy," in their upcoming match against Sri Lanka on June 29.

"We want them to train like Manny Pacquiao," said Palami before going to Germany for their upcoming competition.

They will train for about five to 10 times harder than the actual game so that when they get into the game, they won't lose stamina and endurance.

He believes that Pacquiao trains 10 times harder so when the game comes he is ready in speed and stamina. They want to prepare the players as if they will play three straight games.

According to German coach Hans Michael Weiss the players will not be placed in prison but they willl have control them. The team will have to focus on what they are supposed to do and look at the match seriously. Sri Lanka is hopefully a step in the next higher stage, and that would mean Kuwait.

The Azkals will also have a friendly match against German club. — ARA
