Fifth Division World Champion Floyd Mayweather will have a fight against Mexican-American Victor Ortiz on Sept. 17 possibly at the Cowbiys Stadium in Dallas, Texas.
Sarangani Representative and Boxing Champion Manny Pacquiao believe that their fight will lead him to have another match up with Mayweather in 2012.
Pacquiao said that Ortiz is a southpaw like him so he thinks Mayweather is preparing so het could get used to a lefthander.
"If he gets past Ortiz, then we can fight," said Pacquaio when he was asked if he was willing to have comeback fight with Mayweather.
Mayweather did not have a problem of picking recently crowned WBC welterweight champion Victor Ortiz as his next opponent since his unanimous decision victory over Shane Mosley.
Pacquiao, however, is scheduled to for a third fight with Juan Manuel Marquez on Nov. 12 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Mayweather and Pacquiao's supposed match has been postponed due to the issues on "surprise" drug testing. — ARA
