DepEd suspends classes in Manila, CALABARZON, and Central Luzon

Due to the incessant rains, the Department of Education announced on Thursday morning the suspension of classes from Pre-School to High school for private and public schools in Metro Manila, CALABARZON, and Central Luzon.

The following are the places suspended by DepEd:

• Antipolo
• Rizal
• San Pablo City
• Alamino, Laguna
• Kawit, Cavite
• Lucena, Quezon
• Bataan
• Batangas
• Antipolo
• Bataan
• Angeles, Pampanga

DepED in addition said that classes are also suspended in Bulacan particularly classes in Pariahan Elementary School and Don Isidro Teodoro High School.

Same levels are suspended also in the towns of Doña Remedios Trinidad and Obando in Bulacan.

Meanwhile, Bulacan Governer Whilhelimo M. Sy has distributed relief goods to the affected residents in Bulacan. — ARA
