An employee of the Department of Health believed to have been dead for three days was found in his rented room in Sampaloc, Manila the other day.
Superintendent Joey de Ocampo, chief of the Manila Police District-homicide section, identified the victim as Bayani Guevarra, 54, a DOH employee assigned in Marikina and residing at 517 Cristobal St., Sampaloc, Manila.
Prober PO3 Amelito Lopez said that the victim's body was found shortly past noon the other day, right inside his room in Sampaloc after his neighbors complained of stench coming from his house.
No injuries were found on the victim, leading authorities to suspect that he succumbed to heart attack.
Investigation showed that the victim had been suffering from heart ailment and hypertension. -
