Bulacan CIDG step up drive vs crime

The Bulacan Criminal Investigation and Detection Group of the Philippine National Police intensified its anti-crime operations, apprehending 24 wanted persons after it has beef up its 'Oplan Pagtutugis'.

Bulacan CIDG provincial officer C/Insp. Richard Caballero said they are continuing with this advocacy campaign against wanted persons in the province to curb criminality by exerting relentless effort to put fugitives behind bars.

In his report to CIDG regional head Sr. Supt Rudy Lacadin,Caballero said out of 24 wanted persons arrested for the month of June, three of them committed murder, four attempted murder, while the rest are facing various criminal cases in different courts.

This included wanted persons with estafa and qualified theft case.

Bulacan CIDG operatives also arrested persons facing cases of violation of Omnibus Election Code, child abuse, bouncing check law, Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and RA 9262 or violence against women and their children act. - PIA — ARA
