The nuclear chief of Iran said Sunday on a state television that the country would not suspend its production of higher grade uranium.
The official Abassi, added that he specifically applied to uranium being enriched to 20 percent purity which puts it in easy reach of producing highly enriched uranium for producing nuclear weapons.
United Sates and Israel were alarmed to Abassi's statement because Iran is producing more of its 20 percent enriched uranium in a deep background site that is known as highly resistant to bombing.
Western Intelligent Agencies discovered Fordow, the military base several years ago but Iran just declared the site in 2009.
The Fordow plant which is near the Holy city of Qum is so deep that officials said that Iran has been making a "zone of immunity" against Israeli or US military war.
US officials put the closing and dismantling of Fordow plant and a stop to 20 percent enrichment on their top priority.
Abassi's remarks and announcement on Iran's ploy on building 2 nuclear power plants in 2013 bounds to complicate nuclear talks between Iran and world powers that will proceed in Moscow on June 18.
Failure to meet favorable agreements will put Iranian exports and financial dealings on tight sanctions as early as July 1 which also puts Iranian oil purchases in Europe on embargo. -GIAN — ARA
