QC judge orders Tulfo brods to follow 500-meter distance from Santiagos

Quezon City Judge Bayani Vargas of the Regional Trial Court Branch 219 in Quezon City ordered Thursday a temporary protection order in favor of the Raymart Santiago and Claudine Barretto, demanding the Tulfo brothers (brothers Erwin, Ben, and Raffy) to stay away from the celebrity couple.

The TPO says that the Tulfos cannot come closer than 500 meters from the Santiagos. The protection order is due to the threats purportedly made by the brothers in opposition to the couple on national television.

Vargas said that Tulfos statements made on their T.V. program, "T3" on TV5 "engender a well-founded belief that the right to life, liberty and security of the petitioners was allegedly violated or threatened with violation by an unlawful act or omission of the respondents."

He added, "A general denial of the allegations in the petition shall not be allowed." — ARA
