Station visits - Never The Strangers

Never The Strangers (NTS), the hottest new band serenades Radyo Natin F.M. with their latest song, "Moving Closer", a song by Ace Libre, lead vocalist and keyboardist.

Bianca Babes of RN interviewed the band as Ace tells the story behind the song. He said, when he wrote the song, he imagines a scene with a guy and a girl falling for each other, and everything is in slow motion. "I have this thing for a scene... an obvious element of romance, drama and the idea of 'the moment'," Ace added.

The lines of the chorus "Inch by inch we're moving closing closer/ Feels like a fairytale ending/ Take my heart this is the moment/ I'm moving closer to you" will make Filipinos fall in love, for the song has the certain charm that will make you sigh, according to NTS.

Rico Blanco, former vocalist of Rivermaya band discovered these Ateneans who later became Never The Strangers. Ace Libre-lead vocal and keyboards, PJ Laviña-drums and percussion, Francis Victa-bassist and JP del Mundo-guitars make up the NTS band.
