PNP: Surigao del Sur prepares for events this summer

The Philippine National Police in Surigao del Sur is all set for the three events that will take place this summer. These are the: 43rd NPA anniversary, lenten season, and summer vacation.

According to Police Provincial Director SSupt Arthur Sanchez, they have already braced for all these upcoming events through the guidance of the national headquarters citing both the memoranda dated March 4 and 16, respectively, relative to the security preparations and operations for the said events.

On March 26, the PNP National Headquarters has reiterated the said orders, it was learned.

Meanwhile, Sanchez said he has already met with the army officials recently to discuss security matters. - PIA — ARA
