As part of its continuing service to the people of Pasay, the Pasay City Government through the Public Employment Service Office will be holding another Mega Jobs Fair on Friday, March 16, 2012 at the 3rd Floor of Pasay City Hall where more than 50 local and international companies have confirmed their participation.
The private companies will be joined by government agencies that will provide on the spot frontline services to job applications. These agencies include the Social Security System, National Bureau of Investigation, Philippine Health Insurance Corporation, the National Statistics Office, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, Pag-Ibig Fund, Philippine Overseas Employment Administration and the Department of Labor and Employment.
We have invited the relevant government agencies so that the applicant will be able to secure their requirements on the spot. Thus, a job applicant who needs an NBI clearance no longer needs to go to a NBI clearance center but can make the application at the job fair," said Pasay City Mayor Antonino Calixto.
The mayor said that they will be organizing more job fairs across the city in order to match the needs of employers and the qualifications of applicants. "We invite all job seekers to take advantage of this opportunity," he added.
