Bombing occurred in a municipality in Yala, Bangkok, Thailand at around 7:30am, Wednesday.
Eight people were injured including two students.
Before the incident, the two students were heading to their school for the first day of classes.
Authorities did an investigation immediately after the incident and according to them, two men who were riding a motorcycle threw the victims an explosive device believed to be an M-67 grenade. The bomb hit the windshield of a vehicle, bounced off, hit the ground and then blew up.
The 15 and 17 year old students of Dhammar Wittaya School and the other victims of the tragedy were rushed immediately to the nearest hospital. — OPI
