After the whole world has gone gaga over Prince William and Kate Middleton's fairy-tale like love story which culminated to a grandiose wedding, the next question would probably be, where will the royal couple spend their honeymoon?
It would not be very surprising that the couple would choose a destination which can give them a feel very different from what they are accustomed to- Europe. Thus, the couple decided to fly east of Africa, to a lone virgin island known as Seychelles.
Seychelles is an island country comprised of 115 islands in the Indian Ocean and some 1,500 kilometres (932 miles) east of mainland Africa, northeast of the island of Madagascar.
The couple reserved a whole island, North Island in particular, owned by a businessman by the name of Farhad Vladi, for their honeymoon.
North Island is about 600 acres, and considered a virgin island. The place is rich in flora and fauna, aside from the numerous number of coconut trees that covers most of its areas.
Upon arrival, guests will be entitled to a 20-minute massage- the island's form of welcoming their patrons.
In the island are villas overlooking the beach. Each villa has a plunge pool and a veranda, slightly far from the sand area, where visitors can watch tortoises laying eggs without disturbing them.
Vladi, owner of the North Island said will all pride that it is their honor to host the honeymoon venue for the Royal Couple.
North Island is near another island, Desroches Island Resort, another luxury escape, where William and Kate spend vacation in 2007. According to stories, trying to patch up their shaky relationship that time was the main purpose of their visit. Moreover, information tells that to maintain secrecy in the affairs and activities of the members of the Royal Family, Kate and William checked-in that time as Martin and Rosemary Middleton. — CCSD
