TD "Ramon" moves Southern Mindanao and Calamian area

Tropical Depression "Ramon" has maintained its strength as it moves toward Southern Mindoro and Calamian group area.
At 10 a.m., the Philipine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration detected "Ramon" to be 30 kilometers northeast of Roxas City with maximum winds of 55 kph near the center moving west northwest 19 kph.
"Ramon" is expected to be located 190 km west of Calapan by Thursday.
Public storm warning signal No. 1 has been raised in Marinduque, Mindoro Provinces, Romblon, Southern Quezon, Camarines Sur, Sorsogon, Albay, Burias Island, Ticao Island, Masbate, Northern Palawan, and the Calamian Group of Islands.
Public Storm Warning Signals elsewhere now lowered.
Residents in low lying and mountainous areas under Public Storm Warning Signals are alerted against possible flash-floods, landslides.
Estimated rainfall amount is from 525 mm per hour (heavy) within the 400 km diameter of the tropical depression. — ARA
